VINNIE MILLER SCORES A TOP-25 FINISH IN MICHIGAN

VINNIE MILLER SCORES A TOP-25 FINISH IN MICHIGAN

GAFFNEY, S.C. (June 11, 2018) – Michigan native and NASCAR Xfinity Series rookie, Vinnie Miller scored a top-25 finish for team JD Motorsports with Gary Keller at his home track, Michigan International Speedway.

With LTi Printing 250 qualifying cancelled because of rain, Miller started the race in 32nd place. Miller’s No. 01 JAS Expedited Trucking Chevrolet Camaro had good speed, and Miller was able to work his way through the field. The rain set in again and ended the race on lap 91 with Miller in 25th place and on the lead lap.

“I had a good race in Michigan,” said Miller. “It was my first experience with a three-hour rain delay, which was not fun, but it gave me time to spend with all my family and friends that came to support me at my home track. I’m glad we were able to get the race in and bring home a top-25 finish for the JAS Expedited Trucking, JD Motorsports team. The package NASCAR gave us for the weekend was quite interesting, and I really felt we had a top-20 car. We will keep digging and working hard to get to where I need to be finishing. I can’t thank the No. 01 team and Tony from JAS Expedited Trucking enough for all their support.”

Next up for the NASCAR Xfinity Series is the Iowa 250 presented by Enogen at Iowa Speedway on June 17th, 2018.

GARRETT SMITHLEY FINISHES 26TH IN THE LTI PRINTING 250

GARRETT SMITHLEY FINISHES 26TH IN THE LTI PRINTING 250

GAFFNEY, S.C. (June 11, 2018) – After a long rain delay at Michigan International Speedway, Garrett Smithley finished in 26th place in the NASCAR Xfinity Series LTi Printing 250.

Qualifying was cancelled because of the rain, so Smithley started the race in 22nd place. Smithley’s No. 0 VehicleKEYS.com Chevrolet Camaro was fast on the long runs, but a motor issue held him back on the restarts. The race was deemed official on lap 91 due to heavy rain.

“I had an interesting day in Michigan for me and my team, JD Motorsports with Gary Keller,” said Smithley. “The car was kind of tight at the beginning, but once my No. 0 guys got it turning, I had a fast car. Unfortunately, we had some sort of motor issue that made restarts a struggle, but it was fine once I got up to speed. The last restart just killed us, though. All in all, it was a good points day. We gained on the guys that we needed to and the car’s in one piece. I owe a huge thanks to Joe and Joanna from VehicleKEYS.com for continuing to support me and even waiting out the rain delay with us.”

Next up for the NASCAR Xfinity Series is the Iowa 250 presented by Enogen at Iowa Speedway on June 17th, 2018.

CRASH ENDS MATT MILLS’ RACE AT MICHIGAN INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY

GAFFNEY, S.C. (June 11, 2018) – Matt Mills, driving the No. 15 JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet Camaro, was scored in 36th place in the LTi Printing 250 at Michigan International Speedway.

NASCAR Xfinity Series qualifying was cancelled because of the rain, so Mills started the race in 30th place. Mills was racing on the lead lap before a blown tire sent him into the wall on lap 54, ending his day. The race was deemed official on lap 91 due to heavy rain.

“This was a very disappointing day for my team,” said Mills. “My No. 15 guys gave me a very fast car, and we were doing great at the start of the race gaining positions and staying on the lead lap. I’m very proud of these guys, and I wish we’d got a better finish out of today’s race.”

Next up for the NASCAR Xfinity Series is the Iowa 250 presented by Enogen at Iowa Speedway on June 17th, 2018.

Gaffney, SC (June 7, 2018) – After a strong run last weekend at Pocono Raceway, Ross Chastain is optimistic for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series LTi Printing 250 at Michigan International Speedway.

The Flex Seal® Family of Products, Home of the Original Liquid Rubber In a Can, will once again be the primary sponsor on board Chastain’s No. 4 JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet Camaro.

“It’s a major confidence boost to be racing the same car that we had a great race with last weekend,” said Chastain. “We were able to run with the lead pack of cars and finish 11th last week at Pocono, so there’s no reason why this weekend should be any different. Hopefully we’ll be able to put the Flex Seal Chevy in the top-ten.”

NASCAR Xfinity Series practice is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. and 3:05 p.m. ET Friday. Qualifying will start at 10:05 a.m. on Saturday, and the LTi Printing 250 will get the green flag at 1:30 p.m. ET on FOX.

Gaffney, S.C. (June 7, 2018) – Vinnie Miller is excited to be back in his home state of Michigan for this Saturday’s LTi Printing 250 at Michigan International Speedway (MIS). Michigan-based company and multi-race sponsor, JAS Expedited Trucking will once again be on board Miller’s No. 01 JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet Camaro.

Miller, a rookie in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, had a very successful race at MIS last year in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards (ARCA) in which he started the race in second place, led three laps, and finished in the top-ten.

“I can’t wait to get back to Michigan International Speedway,” said Miller. “It is always nice to be home and have so many family and friends in attendance. It also puts some pressure on me as a driver, but I’m confident that the JD Motorsports team will have a fast Camaro ready for Saturday. Michigan is a fast track; you really have to be on your toes and be ready for anything to happen. I’m just excited that my sponsors, JAS Expedited Trucking based in Lapeer, MI, and my family’s company, Master Mfg., Inc. (Oxford, MI) will be on the No. 01 Camaro for the Xfinity Series race this weekend. Without them I wouldn’t be able to live my dream. Hopefully, we’ll be able to bring home a solid finish for them and JD Motorsports.”

(June 7, 2018) – This weekend at Michigan International Speedway will be one to remember for Garrett Smithley. Smithley, driving the No. 0 VehicleKEYS.com Chevrolet Camaro, is hoping to bring home a great finish in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series LTi Printing 250, before making his Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series debut on Sunday.

VehicleKEYS.com, a new online source for aftermarket key fobs for all major vehicle makes and models, will once again be on board Smithley’s No. 0 JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevy. This will be the third race of the year for VehicleKEYS.com.

“This is going to be a huge weekend for me,” said Smithley. “Even though I’m making my Monster Energy Cup Series debut this weekend, I’m very focused on continuing the great season that my ‘Number Nuthin’’ NASCAR Xfinity Series is having. We struggled a little bit last weekend with the new aero package, but my JD Motorsports guys have worked all week in the shop to figure it out. We’ve got a great game plan for the weekend, and I think it’s going to be a great race for me and VehicleKEYS.com.”

NASCAR Xfinity Series practice is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. and 3:05 p.m. ET Friday. Qualifying will start at 10:05 a.m. on Saturday, and the LTi Printing 250 will get the green flag at 1:30 p.m. ET on FOX.

MATT MILLS READY FOR HIS FIRST RACE AT MICHIGAN INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY

Gaffney, SC (June 7, 2018) – NASCAR Xfinity Series rookie driver, Matt Mills will be making his first start at Michigan International Speedway (MIS) piloting the No. 15 JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet Camaro in Saturday’s LTi Printing 250.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will be using the same aero package at MIS that was used last weekend at Pocono Raceway. Mills ran a solid race at Pocono and finished with a clean racecar, so the No. 15 team will be bringing the same car this weekend.

“Michigan is going to be a challenge, but I feel ready for it after last weekend,” said Mills. “Last Saturday’s race at Pocono was one of the strongest races that I’ve had this year, so I have a great feeling about this weekend’s race with the same car and aero package.”

(June 4, 2018) – Ross Chastain and team JD Motorsports with Gary Keller ran another impressive race in Saturday’s Pocono Green 250. The No. 4 Flex Seal Chevrolet Camaro came home in 11th place at Pocono Raceway.

Chastain advanced to the final round in NASCAR Xfinity Series qualifying and started the race in 12th place. The No. 4 Flex Seal Chevy consistently ran in the top-15 throughout the entire race.

“The car was good all day,” said Chastain. “We swung a lot at it after practice, and it was all in the right direction. The great thing about the new aero package that the Xfinity Series used this weekend is that you can be creative in how you set up the car. We’ll be taking this same car to Michigan next week with the same aero package, so we should be able to finish just as good there. I can’t say ‘thank you’ enough to my No. 4 crew for all of their hard work and to Flex Seal for the support.”

Next up for the NASCAR Xfinity Series is the Michigan 250 at Michigan International Raceway on June 9th, 2018.
