THE TEAM JD MOTORSPORT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED LEADER IN BRNO
The Team JD Motorsport was ready as usual on the Brno track, for the 3rd International Formula Master Event.
The Dutch driver Van der Drift, after has get the best time in the free practices, got the pole position with an incredible gap to the first of the other drivers (more than 0.8 seconds) and after he won the race 1 (it’s his 3rd victory in this season) with a perfect race without leaving any chance to other drivers. In race 2, started from the 8th place for the inversion grid of the first 8 drivers in the end of race 1, he got a good 5th place.
It has been a very nice race weekend for the JD’s Bulgarian driver, too, Arabadzhiev: in his Brno debut, he used his car in the best way getting a very good 3rd time in the Official Qualifying (it was deleted for a penalty, so he started from the 5th place in race 1). Arabadzhiev has been able to express himself better getting the 3rd place in race 1: it has been a fantastic period where he got two European Podium (3rd both in Pau and in Brno) and he got one 2nd and one 1st place in the Italian Formula Master, too, getting the leadership in the Italian Driver’s Standing!
In the Brno weekend it was very important the job that Afanasiev did for the Team JD: the Russian driver although had some problems in getting the feeling with the track, he finished the race 1 in the 9th position, very closed to get points, and he got points in the second race crossing the finish line 6th.
After the 3rd International Formula Master Event the Vespolate Team is the leader in both the Standings (Drivers and Teams). The next appointment is for the 12th and 13th July, in Estoril (Portugal).

IL TEAM JD MOTORSPORT SI E’ CONFERMATO LEADER A BRNO
Il Team JD Motorsport si è fatto trovare pronto come sempre sul circuito di Brno, per la terza prova del campionato europeo Formula Master.
Il pilota olandese Van der Drift,, dopo aver dominato nelle prove libere, ha prima conquistato la pole position rifilando più di 8 decimi al primo degli inseguitori, poi ha meritatamente ottenuto la vittoria in gara 1 (per lui la terza stagionale), senza lasciare chance agli avversari. In gara 2, partito dall’8° posto per l’inversione dei primi otto piloti di gara 1, ha ottenuto un buon 5° posto finale.
Weekend molto positivo anche per il pilota bulgaro del Team JD, Arabadzhiev: all’esordio sul circuito ceco, è riuscito a sfruttare al meglio la vettura ottenendo un ottimo terzo tempo in qualifica (poi retrocesso al 5° posto per un’infrazione durante il turno di prove libere). Arabadzhiev ha poi potuto esprimersi al meglio anche in gara 1 dove ha conquistato il podio terminando la gara al 3° posto: per lui un periodo sicuramente di primissimo livello durante in cui ha collezionato due podi nel campionato europeo (Pau e Brno), oltre ad un 2° ed un 1° posto a Vallelunga nel campionato Italiano Formula Master!
Nel weekend di Brno è stato molto importante anche il lavoro svolto da Sergei Afanasiev del Team JD: il pilota russo pur faticando un po’ a trovare il giusto feeling con il tracciato è giunto ad un passo dalla zona punti in gara 1, terminando al 9° posto, mentre è poi riuscito a racimolare punti importanti in gara 2 concludendo 6°.

Dopo i primi tre appuntamenti europei del campionato Formula Master il Team di Vespolate è in vetta ad entrambe le classifiche, piloti e team.
Prossimo appuntamento è per il 12-13 luglio ad Estoril.

THE TEAM JD MOTORSPORT GOES ON TO BE TO THE TOP IN FRANCE: 3 CARS IN THE FIRST STARTING GRID 4th PLACES
The second International Formula Master Event was on the difficult Pau’s street circuit (France).
The Vespolate Team, after the very good start in Valencia, arrived very motivated in Pau where Van der Drift, between very closed corners and footpaths, had immediately a good feeling getting the best time in both free practice sessions but he had his best job in the Qualifying Session when the gap he gave to the 2nd driver (+1’’,2) had been embarrassment! The very good jod did by the JD has been completed by the other two JD drivers Afanasiev and Arabadzhiev. They used their cars in the best way and they got the 2nd and the 4th time.
In race 1 a mistake stopped Van der Drift and it compromised his race 2, too, where he has finished in the 9th position. Despite that the Team JD Motorsport has imposed authoritatively in the first race getting two steps in the podium, thanks to a perfect race both for Afanasiev (1°) and for Arabadzhiev (3°): in their first race in a street circuit they had been very adept in not have any mistake and in keeping in front of other drivers with more experience.
In Race 2, instead, they didn’t finish the race for an accident in the first lap.

The Team JD Motorsport, leader in both the standings after have won 3 races of 4, for the next International Formula Master races give the appointment to all its funs in Brno, the 15th June 2008.

IN FRANCIA IL TEAM JD MOTORSPORT CONTINUA AD ESSERE AL TOP: 3 VETTURE NELLE PRIME 4 POSIZIONI IN QUALIFICA!
Il secondo appuntamento del campionato europeo Formula Master si è corso sull’insidioso circuito cittadino di Pau (Francia).
Il Team di Vespolate, dopo il brillante esordio in campionato a Valencia, è arrivato molto motivato a Pau dove Van der Drift, tra curve molto strette e marciapiedi si è trovato fin da subito a suo agio dominando i due turni di libere ma, soprattutto, il turno di prove ufficiali dove il vantaggio di +1’’,2 tra lui ed il primo degli inseguitori è parso a dir poco imbarazzante! L’ottimo lavoro della JD è stato poi coronato da entrambi gli altri suoi piloti, Afanasiev e Arabadzhiev, che hanno sfruttato al massimo le vetture a loro disposizione terminando le qualifiche rispettivamente 2° e 4°.
In gara 1 un errore ha fermato Van der Drift compromettendo, così, anche gara 2 in cui ha terminato al 9° posto.
Nonostante ciò il Team JD Motorsport si è imposto autorevolmente nella prima gara andando ad occupare ben due gradini del podio, grazie a una gara perfetta sia di Afanasiev (1°) che di Arabadzhiev (3°): entrambi al loro debutto sul tracciato cittadino sono stati abili a non commettere errori e mantenere un buon ritmo di gara tenendosi alle loro spalle piloti anche più esperti.
In gara 2, invece, sono entrambi stati costretti al ritiro a causa di un contatto al primo giro.

Il Team JD Motorsport, leader di entrambe le classifiche avendo vinto 3 gare su 4 in questo avvio di stagione, per le prossime gare dell’International Formula Master dà appuntamento a tutti i suoi sostenitori ed appassionati per il weekend del 15 giugno, a Brno.

GREAT JD MOTORSPORT: IN VALENCIA VAN DER DRIFT IS THE KING!

The European 2008 International Formula Master Championship started the last 16th May with the Team JD Motorsport immediately protagonist and its driver Chris Van der Drift undisputed ruler for all the weekend
at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Valencia. The JD’s Dutch driver, after have obtained the second place in the first free practice on Friday, started to work seriously, so he got the best time in the second free practice, the pole
position in the Qualifying Session, he won and got the fastest lap in Race 1 and in Race 2 (in Race 2 he started from the 8th position): a real masterpiece for speed, skills and talent because of he did a lot of overtaking during Race 2, too, congratulations!
Good job for the other two JD’s drivers, Afanasiev and Arabadzhiev, both rookies in the Series: despite of the traffic
they met in Race 1 where they started from the 9th and 12th position on the grid, they had a very good Race 2 where they closed the gap with two very good comebacks from the 12th position until the 4th for the Russian driver, and from the 28th until the 11th for the Bulgarian driver.
In the 2008 debut the Team JD and its Drivers have been ready to run in the best way during the 2008 season and the
Team is already working to prepare the next race weekend in Pau (France), street circuit, which will take place in two
weeks.

STREPITOSA JD MOTORSPORT:
A VALENCIA IL RE E’ VAN DER DRIFT!

Il campionato europeo Formula Master 2008 è iniziato lo scorso 16 maggio all’insegna del Team JD Motorsport e del suo pilota Van der Drift, dominatore incontrastato per tutto il weekend sul tracciato Ricardo Tormo di Valencia.
Il pilota olandese della JD, dopo aver ottenuto il secondo tempo nella prima sessione di libere del venerdì, ha poi iniziato a fare sul serio ottenendo il miglior tempo nella seconda sessione di prove libere, la pole position nelle prove ufficiali, vittoria e giro più veloce in gara 1, vittoria (partendo ottavo) e giro più veloce in gara 2: un vero e proprio capolavoro
di velocità, lucidità e freddezza visti i sorpassi che Van der Drift ha dovuto effettuare in gara 2, complimenti!
Bravi anche gli altri due piloti del Team JD, Afanasiev e Arabadzhiev, entrambi al debutto nella categoria: pur avendo avuto problemi di traffico in gara 1, dove partivano rispettivamente dal 9° e 12° posto in griglia, si sono saputi riscattare in gara 2, compiendo belle rimonte, dal 12° posto di partenza al 4° per il russo e dal 28° posto di partenza all’11° per il pilota bulgaro.
All’esordio stagionale la JD ed i suoi piloti si sono fatti trovare pronti per affrontare la stagione 2008 nel migliore dei modi ed il Team è già tornato al lavoro per preparare la prossima gara sul circuito cittadino di Pau (Francia) che si terrà tra due settimane.

News : ARABADZHIEV JD’S DRIVER IN THE 2008 IFM

The Team JD Motorsport has decided the second name of the three drivers will start in the 2008 Formula Master European Championship: he’s the Bulgarian driver, Vladimir Arabadzhiev.

Vladimir, which took part to the Italian F3 in the 2006 and to the F3000 during the last season, had the last Formula Master winter testing session, in Vallelunga, with the Vespolate’s Team in December, getting a lot of good lap times and giving a very positive sensation to all the Team’s Technical Staff.

His sporting program will be very closed in this year because of he will take part to the Italian Formula Master Championship, too, with 14 race weekend in total. For Vladimir, which is already working in the FORMULA MEDICINE Training Sport Centre, the season will be very binding and he could improve his track performances for sure, looking at an his possible sharing in the 2009 GP2 Series.

ARABADZHIEV PILOTA JD NELLA IFM 2008

Il Team JD Motorsport ha definito il nome del secondo dei tre piloti che schiererà al via del campionato Europeo Formula Master 2008: si tratta del pilota Bulgaro Vladimir Arabadzhiev.

Vladimir, che in passato ha disputato il campionato F3 italiano nel 2006 e la scorsa stagione ha corso in F3000, ha effettuato con il Team JD gli ultimi test invernali IFM a Vallelunga girando sempre su buoni tempi, sorprendendo positivamente tutto lo staff tecnico del Team.

Il programma del pilota Bulgaro quest'anno sarà molto intenso in quanto lo vedrà partecipare anche al Campionato Italiano di Formula Master, per un totale quindi di 28 gare. Per Vladimir che è già al lavoro nel centro sportivo FORMULA MEDICINE, si presenta una stagione molto impegnativa nella quale potrà senz'altro migliorare la propria preparazione in vista di una sua possibile partecipazione alla serie GP2 nel 2009.

S.AFANASIEV IS TO TEAM JD
The Team JD Motorsport signed the agreement with his first 2008 season driver, about the Formula Master European Series: he’s the Russian, Sergey Afanasiev, coming from the F3 Euro Series Championship.
Roberto Cavallari (Team Manager) “We’re very happy for the agreement signed with Sergey, he adapted himself to our car in a very few time and he had a very important job, being very fast in many circumstances.
A special thanks is for all the LUKOIL Staff which has choose, one more time (there was already the M.Aleshin debut in the 2003), our Team to their drivers technical growing”
Two steering wheels are available yet to the Team JD and negotiations will still go on for the first part of the 2008.

Il Team JD Motorsport ha siglato l'accordo con il suo primo pilota per la stagione 2008, in cui disputerà il campionato Europeo Formula Master: si tratta del russo Sergey Afanasiev, proveniente dal campionato F3 Euro Series.

The Team JD Motorsport, finished the great first season in the European Formula Master Championship, is working a lot to prepare in the best way the 2008 IFM Championship.
The thick winter testing season, in Oschersleben, Valencia and Vallelunga tracks, has seen many drivers on the JD’s cars and the Russian S. Afanasiev had a good feeling with the Team getting the best time both in the German track and in the Italian track.

The Vespolate Team will be two more days in Vallelunga, 18th and 19th December, to continue its drivers selection for the 2008 Championship

Il Team JD Motorsport, terminata l’ottima stagione di debutto nel campionato europeo Formula Master, sta lavorando assiduamente per preparare al meglio il Campionato IFM 2008.
Il ricco programma di test invernali, tenutosi sulle piste di Oschersleben, Valencia e Vallelunga, ha visto avvicendarsi sulle monoposto numerosi piloti tra cui si è trovato particolarmente a suo agio il russo S. Afanasiev ottenendo il miglior crono assoluto sia sul tracciato tedesco sia su quello romano.
Il Team di Vespolate sarà impegnato ancora due giorni, sempre a Vallelunga, il prossimo 18 e 19 dicembre, dove continuerà la selezione di piloti per il Campionato 2008.
